MTL 24/24 is thrilled to unveil the new visual identity for the fourth edition of the Montreal Night Summit on May 17 and 18, a series of conferences, workshops and roundtables led by local and international nightlife experts to discuss their real-life experiences, and NON STOP from May 19 to 21, a 36-hour pilot event of uninterrupted nightlife culture, with extended liquor hours and a free outdoor stage, that will close out the Night Summit.
The visual identity was created by the design studio Demande Spéciale through the Montreal Night Summit’s theme: NOX ✦ SPATIUM – The Infinite Space of Night. This theme aims to reflect on the possibilities of the infinite space of night. The night is not only a time, it is also a space. A space to connect, build, dance, dream, create, live and celebrate the cities we inhabit, together.
The Montreal Night Summit and the NON STOP event will kick off the summer season and highlight local and international talent by welcoming nearly sixty artists and experts from Europe, the United States, Canada and Quebec. Montrealers will be able to reinvent and experience a new nightlife with MTL 24/24’s signature programming taking place in venues across Old Montreal, including at the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal and Place des commencements.

This annual event features lectures, workshops and panel discussions led by local and international nightlife experts. This year, the Montreal Night Summit returns on May 17 and 18, 2023 to explore space rather than time and reflect on the possibilities of the infinite space of the night! The conference will explore the following lines of thought via speakers from Europe, the United States, Canada and Quebec:
Physical dimensions: Nightscapes, architecture, zoning areas, urban development and planning, transformation of industrial spaces, cultural venues, multi-use placemaking and creative footprints.
The exploration of ingenuity: Ideas, interventions, best practices, actions, policy and possibilities. Moonshots in transit, public parks, lighting, society, culture, safety, care, and space for the next generation.
Constellations and relative positions: Night governance models, inter-city networks, innovations in community building, nightlife projects and resilience.
Supported by a wide variety of partners, both private and institutional as well as local and international, the programming at the Montreal Night Summit will reflect a wide spectrum of the nightlife ecosystem from here and abroad, providing a new networking opportunity for the local nightlife industry.

NON STOP
From Friday May 19 to Sunday May 21 – Grand Quai du Port de Montréal
NON STOP from May 19 to 21 is a pilot event featuring over 36 hours of non-stop nightlife culture, with extended hours of alcohol sales, that will close out the Montreal Night Summit. The event will take place at the Grand Quai of the Port of Montreal, with a spectacular panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River and the city of Montreal! The program will feature a variety of performances by local and international nightlife artists.

NON STOP – Free Outdoor Stage

This year, MTL 24/24 is innovating and proposes an outdoor stage that is accessible for free to all at the Place des commencements in Old Montreal. This joyful and festive open-air celebration with artists and DJ sets will explore all the nuances of electronic music.
