Discover our international headliners:

VTSS (PL/UK), an emblematic figure in hard techno music

Hard, fast and uncompromising – this is how VTSS, one of techno’s brightest new stars of the past few years, tends to be described. There’s more to the Polish-born, London-based artist, real name Martyna Maja, than that reputation might suggest however. It’s true that she’s one of dance music’s most notorious thrillseekers. Maja’s DJ sets the world over, at the likes of Berghain, Possession, Dekmantel, Junction 2, and respected experiential festival Unsound, are renowned for their blow-the-house-down energy. But coupled with her highly praised releases on leading labels such as Repitch, Ninja Tune, and Monnom Black, she pulled off the difficult wire-balancing act of being a critics’ favorite and a big-room destroyer.

DJ Minx (US), legendary DJ and producer from Detroit, founder of the DJ collective “Women on Wax”

A longtime fixture of Detroit’s club scene, DJ Minx is often referred to as the First Lady of Wax. Active as a DJ since the early 1990s, Jennifer Damaris formed the Women on Wax, a collective of female DJs and producers from the Detroit area in late 1996, and she launched the label Women on Wax Recordings in 2001. DJ Minx finally started receiving recognition as a dance music legend during the 2010s. DJ Minx has shaped the history of dance music.

Jacques Greene (QC, CA), a key talent in Montreal’s house music scene

Jacques Greene is the artist name of Philippe Aubin-Dionne, the Montreal-born and raised DJ and producer – one of dance music’s most captivating and enigmatic talents. The house and RnB producer has consistently given the musical landscape progressively deeper ideas of what house music can mean throughout the last decade. Producing for vocalists Katy B, Tinashe and How To Dress Well and remixing Radiohead, Flume, Rhye and MorMor, Jacques Greene has expanded his collaborations to include fashion with Givenchy and cult designer Rad Hourani and art institutions including London’s Tate Modern.

TSVI (IT/UK), leading light of the UK underground rave scene

Guglielmo Barzacchini is an Italian DJ and producer living in London; he makes functional, electronic percussive tracks with influences originating from a diverse range of music all over the world. TSVI is a leading light of London’s rave underground scene, and is co-founder of the UK based record label Nervous Horizon, which is shaping the contemporary sound of highly percussive, stripped back, club music. He has received support from: Aphex Twin, Gilles Peterson, Kode9 (Hyperdub), Mike Paradinas (Planet Mu) and many more. In recent years he performed at: CTM festival 2019 at Berghain, Field Day London, No Bounds Festival and he also toured internationally in the United States and Asia.

Kiernan Laveaux (US), the icon of the psychedelic rave

Kiernan Laveaux is a transgender energy conduit of communication sounds & connection rhythms. Originally emerging as one of the forces behind In Training, a long running queer event series founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 2014, the ethos & mindset of transportative psychedelia, personal autonomy, & community building continues to orbit the ever expanding sphere of amazing friends she’s made throughout the midwest and the world. She now exists to channel love, understanding, and binary dissolving sounds to listeners of open mind & spirit everywhere.

A free outdoor stage open to all

This year, MTL 24/24 welcomes Montrealers and tourists of all ages to enjoy its cultural programming at a free outdoor stage at the Place des commencements in Old Montreal as part of NON STOP! This joyful and festive open-air celebration will feature artists and DJ sets that explore all the nuances of electronic music.
